Heather Smith
FOUNDER
Before creating Poppy, I was a lawyer, executive director and exited founder of Juliet, a women’s health company where I discovered my passion for creating spaces that truly serve women’s needs. My legal background taught me how systems are designed—and more importantly, who they’re designed for.
I founded Poppy because I was tired of walking into spaces and questioning if I truly belonged or trying to fit into a mold that was never designed for me. I wanted to create a space where women+ could show up as their most authentic, beautiful selves and feel an undeniable sense of belonging.
The reality is, traditional workspaces were never designed for us. They were built around a male-centric model, and little has changed.
Until now.
Poppy is more than a workspace—it’s a community where we extend our personal networks to other women, engage in conversations that matter, and share a deep understanding of the unique experiences and biases women face.
I named this space Poppy because the flower is native to Wyoming and resilient. No matter what’s thrown at them, poppies endure—they return season after season. And if that doesn’t capture the spirit of being a woman, what does?
Jacqueline Beley
DIRECTOR OF CULTURE & COMMUNITY
Jacqueline Beley has spent the past 15 years professionally hyping up women through multiple ventures. As an expert in social media, marketing, and women’s hormone health, she understands that women navigate their goals differently than men—and builds spaces and strategies to support that.
Her entrepreneurial journey began in the online health and wellness space, where she co-created communities that empowered women to feel confident in their bodies and deeply connected to one another. From intimate local meetups to thriving online networks, Jacqueline witnessed the magic that happens when women come together support one another in their goals.
After scaling a successful business and experiencing burnout—a true “girl boss to girl moss” moment—Jacqueline launched The Menstrual Mogul: a platform where she vulnerably shares her life and encourages women to live on their own terms rather than society’s expectations.
Today, as Poppy’s in-house hype girl, Jacqueline uplifts the community while building opportunities for connection. When she’s not at Poppy, you can find her relishing in the latest pop culture viral moment, appearing as an extra on shows like Yellowstone and films like Silver Linings Playbook, or capturing wedding and event content through her local business, On Site Socials JH.
